Does anybody have experience of data access/recovery (via UFI box) for Qualcomm SDM630?

Keen to purchase the UFI box; however, having failed to recover the data via the RiffBox, would be interested to know of any previous success with this data recovery.

Is it possible to simply purchase the UFI box and simply access the emmc?
