Dear User,

Every initiated operation counts, even if the operation is cancelled.
That being said, all operations done on the SAME PHONE in the SAME MODE counts just once.

You have connected this Oppo first just in normal mode, and then ran a Get Info operation on it, which counted once.
After that you reconnected the device in bootrom mode, which is a different mode and ran IMEI repair then Bootloader Unlocking on it, these operations also counted once.

In total you ran operations on the SAME phone in TWO DIFFERENT MODES, resulting in 2 connection counts.

Regarding the failure of the Bootloader Unlocking procedure:
In your work logs, the Mediatek driver was detected to be MISSING from your computer.
Please install/reinstall ALL drivers from the Settings/Drivers tab in Chimera Tool, then retry the operation on this phone!

Best Regards,
ChimeraTeam

Tool has failed to get info. As you can see the logs.. still counted.
Drivers working absolutely fine. It was waiting for"fastboot device" which doesnt make any sense for unlocking the bootloader of MTK devices.
I know that initiated operation counts the device but didnt know that even failed operation counts as well.. ridiculous!

Btw I checked model in chimera supported models list before trying to do anything.
It was oppo a79 cph2557 & listed as supported "unlock bootloader" imei repair etc.
& there's not mentioned that android 15 or latest security patch doesnt support.
So i connected in adb mode first but there was none of the supported functions as described.
Then i tried using mtk method with & without testpoints. (Testpoints doesnt work android 15) .
phone booted successfully. It can be counted as 1 even if it was failed to unlock the bootloader as the tool has claimed.

Dear User,

We understand your concerns, but unfortunately in some cases there are serious technical challenges that make it difficult to describe the limitations of a given operation that is listed as supported.
We try to indicate this with the "Dynamic" tag, in the bottom right corner of the list of supported operations. This means, that the operations listed were not necessarily designed to work on the exact model or brand, they are just generic operations our users have successfully ran on the phone. Having said that, we are actively working on improving this system.

Best Regards,
ChimeraTeam
