Apple has now released the seventh developer beta of iOS 26 as it works towards making the update available to the public.

This release brings with it improvements over the sixth beta, and we can expect more releases before the update is ready for primetime. If Apple sticks to its usual pattern, we expect that it will release iOS 26 to the public in the middle of September.
While the newer betas are generally more stable than the previous ones, it’s important to remember that bugs and issues are to be expected. For that reason, we recommend that you only install this beta on a device that you don’t need to work perfectly 100% of the time. This goes for iOS as well as macOS, watchOS, and all other Apple betas.
Assuming you’re a registered developer, installing iOS 26 beta 7 couldn’t be easier. Just make sure that you have a local or iCloud backup first.
Step 1: Open the Settings app and choose General, followed by Software Update.
Step 2: Tap Beta Updates.
Step 3: Change the Apple ID that is configured if needed. It can be different from the one you’re using as your main iPhone Apple ID, so long as it’s registered on Apple’s developer program.
Step 4: Select the iOS 26 Developer Beta.
Step 5: Return to the Software Update screen and choose Download and Install. Enter your passcode if prompted and agree to the Terms & Conditions.
That’s all there is to it. After a restart, you’ll be running the latest iOS 26 beta!
