Nokia 3310 to Go On Sale Globally by the End of April; Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6

HMD Global announced three new smartphones- the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and the iconic Nokia 3310 at MWC 2017 event. At the same event, the company also made the Nokia 6 Global, which was launched back in January as an exclusive to the Chinese market. According to a new leak from Neowin, the Nokia 3310 will hit the markets by the end of April, and that other Nokia phones will follow suit.

The report also cites that the Nokia 3310 will be first sold in Malaysia by the end of April. The Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and the Nokia 6 will be sold in May. The Nokia 3 will go on sale for the first time in the first half of May and the Nokia 5 during mid-May, whereas the Nokia 6 is rumored to go on sale by the end of May.

HMD Global previously announced that they would sell the Nokia phones in 120 countries including India. If we’re not wrong, the phones will reach the Indian shores by the end of May or maybe earlier than that.

At the time of launch, Nokia claimed that the phones would go on sale in Q2 2017 and true to their words, the company is planning to sell the phone in Q2 itself.

However, Nokia and HMD Global are silent on the pricing of the phones for the Indian market. We’re expecting them to be priced steeply. The Nokia 6 is the bigger of all and comes with 5.5-inch Full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC, 16MP rear camera, 4GB of RAM, and 3000mAh battery.

The Nokia 5 is a watered down version of the Nokia 6 that comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD display, same Snapdragon 430 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 13MP rear camera, and 3000mAh battery.

The Nokia 3 is the smaller phone in the list with 5-inch HD display, MediaTek MT6737 SoC, 8MP rear camera, and a small 2650mAh battery.

The Nokia 3310 features a 2.4-inch QVGA display, runs Series 30+ OS, and also has a 2MP rear camera as well. The storage in the phone is expandable via microSD card, and it also has the trademark ‘Snake’ game.
