I have a Redmi Note 5 with MIUI Global 11.0.3 .0 (PEIMIXM) installed.
I notice that if I connect the USB port to a computer or a power source whilst the phone is turned on, the phone will not charge, and the computer will not recogize the phone.
However, if I plug the phone whilst it is turned off, the phone will charge, even if I turned on the phone subsequently whilst the phone remains connected.
Also, if I plugged the phone to a PC whilst the phone is turned off, then turn on the phone, the PC can then see the content of the phone as usual and the phone can charge.
So what could have gone wrong on my phone? I am really perplexed.
