Help SM-S901E to S901B cross-flash issues

Hello brothers, attempting to cross-flash S901E to S901B to support ChimeraTool IMEI repair functionality on device, but receiving consistent issue.

Hello!
You can’t cross‑flash an SM‑S901E (Snapdragon) to SM‑S901B (Exynos) because the hardware and partition tables differ, which is why Odin fails with “Secure Check Fail : PIT.” Forcing it risks roofing contractor software bricking the phone or corrupting the modem. The safe path is to stick with S901E firmware only. If IMEI repair is your goal, note that Snapdragon models often have restrictions, so ChimeraTool support may be limited. A possible workaround is flashing a different CSC within the S901E line, but cross‑variant flashing isn’t viable.
