The UMT team has officially released UMTv2/UMTPro QcFire v12.3, an advanced Qualcomm service tool update for Huawei, Samsung, Xiaomi, Motorola, Nokia, Lenovo, Vivo, ZTE, and more. In this latest version comes with packed new device support, improved features, and important bug fixes, making it an required upgrade for mobile repair professionals.

Google Pixel SIM Unlock Guide​

For Pixel devices, follow these steps to remove SIM restrictions:
  1. Remove SIM card and factory reset the device.
  2. Complete setup in offline mode.
  3. Go to Settings → Apps → Show System Apps.
  4. Search for Device Setup, open Wi-Fi Data Usage, and turn off background data.
  5. Enable ADB and connect your device to PC.
  6. Open QcFire → Read & Tool → Pixel SIM Unlock.
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions.


Updated Internal Database
The internal loader database has been updated to improve EDL and flashing compatibility across more Qualcomm devices.


Samsung EDL Connection Method​

For newer Samsung models, use the following method:
  1. Hold VOL UP + VOL DOWN on the device.
  2. Press and hold the EDL cable button.
  3. Connect cable to the device while holding the button.
  4. Rapidly press VOL UP + VOL DOWN together at least 3 times.
  5. Release the EDL cable button but keep pressing VOL UP + VOL DOWN until connected in EDL mode.
