Hello, I bought a UFI Box from Alibaba, but I'm having trouble reading eMMCs. It recognizes the eMMCs, but the reading process cancels shortly after it starts. I've tried different eMMCs, including Samsung, Hinix, and Toshiba, and the process cancels with all of them. I spoke with the Alibaba seller, and they told me to contact UFI Box support directly. I even have a video of the reading process.

Hola Nota ; para que les funcione bien la ufi box hasta el sofware versioin 1.7 y con el firmware antiguo de la ufi box funciona todo bien pero si actualizan el firmware y le instalan la version 1,8 le dara muchos errores ya lo he comprobado y recomprobado

Hello Support UFI,

My UFI Box uses physical smartcard. After uninstalling latest version and downgrading to v1.6.0.2333 from v1.8.0.3246, now software shows:

"The smartcard is tampered (E:Memory failure), you may have to replace the smartcard"

Smartcard still outputs ATR on external smartcard reader, so hardware seems alive.

Can this smartcard be repaired/reinitialized or replaced with license transfer?

hello I received my package Yesterday once unpacked and plugged in we ask for an activation and then an update...
at the progress of the update, there was a power outage and the computer stopped 1 hour later the electricity came back when I plugged in the USB port does not detect, only the reset red light remains on.
I have performed the reinstallation of the drivers and drivers always the same in conclusion
the UFS prog box does not connect to the computer if there are other solutions I am waiting for your answer Thank you

Bonjour, j'ai reçu mon colis hier. Après l'avoir déballé et branché, une activation puis une mise à jour ont été demandées. Pendant la mise à jour, une coupure de courant a interrompu l'ordinateur, qui s'est arrêté une heure plus tard. Au retour du courant, le port USB n'est plus détecté ; seul le voyant rouge de réinitialisation reste allumé. J'ai réinstallé les pilotes, mais le problème persiste. En conclusion, le boîtier UFS Prog ne se connecte pas à l'ordinateur. Auriez-vous une autre solution ? Merci d'avance pour votre réponse.

Hello, sorry for the late reply.
We're currently developing a new platform;
all UFI applications will eventually be integrated with this new platform.
Don't worry, UFI boxes will continue to be usable in the future,
with improvements and updates focused on flexibility and ease of use across all device types.
Hopefully, we can introduce this new platform to you all this year.

Back to the problem,
all current UFS boxes struggle with high-speed chip reading.
However, if you're comparing the reasons why Easy Jtag can read chips,
there are two UFS connection modes.
You can choose between them via Power Mode: PWM GEAR for Low Speed and HS-GEAR for High Speed/Burst Mode for high-performance data transfer.
As the name suggests, HS GEAR offers the highest speed, but speed always comes with risk.
Easy Jtag relies on PWM Gear, so while it's slower, the risk of reading errors is minimized.
Therefore, you can try switching the Power Mode manually to PWM-GEAR instead of auto mode.

Whenever an error occurs during transfer mode,
the chip will enter halted mode, so all commands from the host will not respond.
To resolve this, we need to force the chip back into idle mode by pressing the Soft Reset button in the UFI UFS ToolBox application,
or manually pressing the RESET button in the UFI-UFS Prog box.
After that, perform Identify UFS and continue with your desired operation.
