HOW TO EASY ROOT SAMSUNG GALAXY A7 SM-A710FD WITH ODIN


In this post Smartphone Clinic will provide a tutorial about Root and Install TWRP Recovery on Samsung Galaxy A7 A710FD with PC. Make sure that your Samsung Galaxy A7 running on Android Lollipop 5.1.1. If your device is a totally different model, it will not work (may even brick) ! In this tutorial we use Odin on Widows computer. Root your device at your own risk.

Preparation:

HOW TO EASY ROOT SAMSUNG GALAXY A7 SM-A710FD WITH ODIN:
  • First you should enabled Developer options
    If Developers Option is hidden, go to Settings > About Phone > Built Number (tap on it for 5-8 times)
  • Enabled USB Debugging and OEM unlock


  • Connect it to you PC using the USB cable and copy the SuperSU.zip file into the root directory of your internal storage.
  • Turn off your Samsung Galaxy
  • Boot the device into Download Mode as follows: press and hold Volume Down, Home and Power buttons together
  • When a warning triangle appears on screen, press Volume Up button to enter Download Mode.
  • Launch Odin3.exe by click right and run as administrator on computer


  • Connect your phone to the computer. Odin will automatically detect your phone and show the “added message”.


  • In Odin, tap AP button and find the TWRP Recovery file you downloaded earlier and select it


  • Ensure Uncheck Auto-reboot in Odin
  • click Start in Odin.
  • Once the root installation is done, your phone will reboot and soon a PASS message with a green background appears in the left-most box at the very top of Odin.


  • Turn off your Samsung Galaxy
  • Boot into “recovery mode”, by pressing and hold Volume Up + Home +Power buttons simultaneously
  • Select ‘Install’ and scroll all the way to the bottom till you see the SuperSU.zip file.
  • Select the .zip file and swipe the bar to confirm. This will start flashing the .zip file.
  • Once the flashing finished you will see the ‘Reboot System’ option, click it to reboot your device.
  • After reboot, Open menu. If the SuperSU App exist on your Application Menu on your smartphone it means you’ve succesfully rooted your device.

How to Root Samsung Galaxy A7 SM-A710FD Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow using TWRP Recovery and SuperSU. There are some methods for rooting Android OS like CWM Recovery and TWRP Recovery. Before rooting your device make sure you understand what is rooting and for what rooting, also there are some risks like brick your device, bootloop and other issues. Make sure you understand what will you do. Don’t do this if doubt or not sure about rooting.

Don’t ignore this warning!

  1. Use at your own risk, I’m not responsible for bricking your device.
  2. Using the incorrect file may brick your device.
  3. If your target device has a custom firmware flash counter, Rooting will trigger it. If you’re lucky, Triangle Away has support for your device and can be used to reset the counter.
  4. If you have a KNOX-enabled device, Rooting will trip the KNOX WARRANTY VOID status !
  5. If your device storage is encrypted, Rooting will wipe your data !
  6. If you have locked bootloaders, flashing one of these will probably brick your device – with the exception of Nexus devices, which will usually automatically “OEM unlock” and wipe your data !
  7. Make sure to backup your important data before root it.

Prepare tools and your device:

Rooting Steps

  1. Open ODIN software
  2. In Option make sure to ticked F.Reset Time only and disable Auto-Reboot.
  3. In Files Download ticked AP and enter the rooting files
  4. Enter Download Mode or ODIN Mode: Turn power off your device, Press and hold Volume Down + Home, while pressing these keys Press and hold Power, Release all keys when Download / Odin mode appears. Then press Volume Up.
  5. Connect your Samsung Galaxy to PC using USB Cable
  6. Odin software will detect port of your device, after detected device, klik Start, wait for a moment.
  7. Enter TWRP Recovery mode: Press and hold Volume Down + Home while pressing these keys press and hold Power to get out of Download mode and immediately press Volume Up when the screen blanks while keep pressing Home and Power.
  8. In the TWRP Recovery: Swipe to Allow Modifications. Select ‘install zip’. Click on Storage to change from Internal Storage to Micro SDcard. Select SuperSU which you downloaded. Swipe to Confirm Flash. Flashing process will start. Once Completed. Wipe Cache/dalvik and then choose reboot device.
WARNING!

Don’t ever disable Developer options and OEM unlock once your device rooted. Or you will lose your data and you can not enter your android system. You will get the message error “Custom Binary blocked by FRP Lock“.
