You can now download iOS 26.1 beta 1 IPSW links and OTA Update after Apple made it available to download for developers today.
The release comes only a week after final version of iOS 26.0 was made public, and only a few days after iPhone 17 series and iPhone Air were launched to public.
Alongside iOS 26.1 beta 1, Apple has also released beta 1 of iPadOS 26.1, macOS 26.1, tvOS 26.1, watchOS 26.1 and even visionOS 26.1.
As of this writing, we don’t know what’s new in these updates yet but we are in the process of installing the aforementioned updates and will of course be back with our findings in a separate post to this. So stay tuned for that.
Those of you who care about updating can head over to Settings > General > Software Update section of the device and grabbing the OTA Update from there. Make sure you have Beta Updates turned on for OTA to show up. Alternatively, you can also download it as an IPSW file from developer.apple.com and updating to it via iTunes on Windows or Finder on Mac.
Besides iOS 26.1, Apple is expected to release iOS 26.0.1 as well in the coming days as a bug fix update to iOS 26.0.
