am trying to perform FRP Remove in EUB Mode (Test Point) on two identical devices: Samsung Galaxy A04s (SM-A047F). Both have Exynos 850 (Exynos 3830) processors.

Both devices are currently on the latest Bit 13 (U13/S13) security patch (Firmware: A047FXXSDEYL1).

The problem is that neither of them is recognized in EUB Mode anymore.
When I perform the Test Point procedure (battery disconnected, shorting the correct pins, and inserting a high-quality USB cable directly into the PC's motherboard port), Chimera does not detect the Exynos 3830 device.

Instead, Windows instantly throws the following USB error in Device Manager:
Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed) - Code 43

I want to clarify that:

  1. I have successfully done Test Point on these exact same phone models in the past, using the exact same PC, cable, and technique.
  2. I have tried multiple original cables.
  3. I have tried reinstalling the Samsung and USBDK drivers from Chimera Settings.
  4. I even tried on a completely different, clean laptop with a fresh Chimera installation, and I get the exact same "Device Descriptor Request Failed" error the second I plug in the cable.
  5. Both phones boot up normally and connect fine in Download Mode and MTP Mode, so the USB charging port/flex cable is 100% working.
My questions:

  1. Is the EUB Mode (Bootrom exploit) completely blocked by Samsung on the new Bit 13 (U13) security patch for the Exynos 850 / A04s?
  2. Is there a known bug with the current Chimera update regarding the Exynos 3830 loader?
Thank you!"

hi there,
EUB mode is completly blocked in latest security [atches. there is eFuse working to force a device into EUB mode which is got fused by the samsung software patches not to get it done.

Thank you for the clear technical explanation. Since the eFuse is blown and EUB/Test Point is permanently dead for this device, what is the working alternative to remove FRP on this A04s (Bit 13 / U13) using ChimeraTool?
