I'm hoping someone can help me out with a screen issue I'm facing after flashing my MT6580-based S10 clone. I've tried flashing different preloaders, but each has caused a different problem. Here's what happened:
preloader_boway6580_weg_gm_l.bin
When I flashed the rom with the original preloader of the phone (preloader_aeon6580_weg_l_l100.bin), the screen didn't show anything.
After flashing this rom with the preloader that came with it (preloader_boway6580_weg_gm_l.bin), the screen started showing random colors. The touch functionality still works, though, and I can interact with the phone, but the screen is unusable due to the color glitches.
I tried flashing different roms and lk.bins thinking it was just a lcd driver mismatch but got no success. I either got black backlit screens or different colours screen.
The firmware I flashed was MT6580__alps__boway6580_weg_gm_l__boway6580_weg_gm_l__5.1__ALPS.L1.MP6.V2.19_BOWAY6580.WEG.GM.L_P8.rar.
Does anyone have experience with this type of issue or any suggestions on how I can fix the screen behavior?
