UFI Box Access Violation Error FIX on Windows 11 24H2, 25H2 & 26H2 | Latest Windows Fix​

Hello UFI Users!

As you may already know, many UFI Box users have been facing the **“Access Violation” error** when trying to launch UFI software on newer versions of Windows 11, including **24H2, 25H2, and 26H2**. Due to this compatibility issue, users have had to look for workarounds or consider downgrading Windows to continue using their UFI Box.

But don't worry! Today, we're going to try an **unofficial compatibility fix** that aims to resolve this issue and help UFI Box users run their software on the latest Windows versions without downgrading their operating system.

The fix is available on GitHub as an open-source project:

I've personally tested this solution on **Windows 11 26H2**, and UFI software is launching and working on my system without any issues. In this tutorial, I'll share the solution with the UFI community so that other users can try it too.

Thank you very much for your kind words and appreciation. I'm glad to hear that the solution works perfectly on Windows 11 26H2 and can benefit the UFI Box community.

With financial support, I would be happy to dedicate more time and resources to developing **Version 2**, focusing on resolving additional issues, such as detection problems with certain eMMC and UFS chips, along with other compatibility and stability improvements.

You can still Fix the Issue until the new release published with using the unofficial UFI-Fix:​

For those who still get error even using UFI-Fix patch, you may still fix the issue by applying below settings on Windows 11 26H2
1- Turn the DEP on in the Advanced Sysytem Settings by default
2- Go to Windows Settings --> Privacy & Security --> Windows Security
3- Open Windows Security
4- Go to App & browser control
5- Go to Exploit protection --> Exploit protection settings
6- On the Exploit protection section, select Program settings
7- + Add program to customize
8- Add C:\UFI\Ufi.exe and C:\Program Files\Ufi-Fix\UFI-Fix.exe and set both exutable files to Off by selecting Override system settings for all options
9- Restart the computer
10 - Run the Ufi-Fix app one more time and let it apply the necessary changes to files
Then the UFI Toolbox should open without any errors

Install the Python latest release by PowerShell and run the UFı-Fix app as administrator.
You may also need add (as folder) includes those Ufi.exe and UFI-Fix.exe two folders to "Exclusions" to Windows Virus & threat protection.
