UMTv2/UMTPro UltimateMTK2 allows flashing in both BROM and Preloader modes. Here's how to maximize compatibility:
Custom DA: If the default DA fails, use a custom Download Agent.
Force BROM: May not work on newer security chips. Use Test Point method instead.
Test Point Tip: Always select Preloader in PL settings while using test point method.
Preloader Mode: Must choose “PRELOADER” in connection settings. Else, the tool will attempt to crash the preloader (not reliable for newer security).
