Hello Martview members; In this article, we will explain how to do E Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite ”IMEI repair.

Note 1: It is not legal to change the IMEI numbers of the means of communication. This guide has somehow damaged the original IMEI number of your phone, so it is intended to help people who cannot use the device. Please use the phone's original IMEI number.
Note 2: Install shared files / programs on your computer or phone device; data loss, or your device will not be turned on again, users will be deemed to have taken full responsibility when applying the methods. I and the MARTVIEW family cannot be held responsible for any negative consequences.

What distinguishes this model from others; The integrity of the IMEI numbers is somehow maintained and the internal memory of the phone is encrypted (RSA Encrypted Models). Even so coded that; you remove protection, it is activated again when you restart the device. I'm going to try to make it concise. Let's get started…

Preliminary checks: Make sure your phone is charged at least 50% or more.
Before you start the process, you can download contacts, pictures and so on. back up all your important data. Doing so will erase all your data several times.

1) Your phone's Bootloader needs to be unlocked, if not you can unlock it here . This may take time. I waited for 136 hours. J Phone repairers are able to open with different methods. The issue is long, let's not get into that here.

2) Install the device TWRP and grant root authority;
a) Install ADB drivers on the computer. (Link above)
b) TWRP recovery-3.2.3-xıaomı8lıte.img-file downloaded (link above) on your computer's main index adb (C: \ adb \) to copy into the folder.
c) Switch off the appliance. Then switch to Fastboot mode. To do this; Volume down + Press and hold the power buttons together. The device will open in Fastboot mode. Now connect the phone to the computer with usb cable.
d) Start 'Adb shell' on your computer. To do this in C: \ adb \ while in the folder Ctrl + Mouse right-click when you open 'window here the Power Shell' Select. (For Windows 7 users'Open the command prompt here' text.) Then enter the following commands respectively;

fastboot flash recovery-TWRP-3.2.3-XIAOMI8LITE.img
fastboot boot recovery-TWRP-3.2.3-XIAOMI8LITE.img The

device will turn on in the TWRP mode when the operation is complete. (Do not boot in normal operating system. If something goes wrong, repeat the above two commands again.)
E) When the device is first turned on in TWRP mode, select English with Select Language. (Chinese and English are coming)
It's in the phone will be able to see the internal memory on the computer. Get there or to a MicroSD card with Magisk.zip and Disable Force Encryption TrebleCopy files. (Links above) I used a MicroSD card for this operation and inserted it into the Sim 2 slot of the phone.

f) Then, respectively;
Select> Wipe-> Advance Wipe-> Data and move the cursor to the right.
Return to the main screen of the TWRP and select Install. Source will ask. Select the internal memory or MicroSD card and install the Disable Force Encryption Treble program we copied there . (This program will disable RSA encryption is our biggest concern)

After the installation is complete, return to the main screen and select Install. This time select the Magisk.zip file in the same location and install it.

Restart the device after successful installation. Now we have a root device. So we can access the Kernel and make the change we want. Since we do Wipe Data it takes a long time to boot and the settings of the phone are made from scratch.

3) Take qcn backup with QPST program .
To do this, install QPST.2.7.460.zip, Qualcomm Diag Qd Loader 2016 Qfil Driver and Qualcomm_USB_Driver_V1.0 on your computer. (Links above) If Windows asks for 'Driver Signature' approval.
a) Then we need to activate 'Usb Debugging' on the phone so that we can activate the USB Diagnostic Port of the device with the computer. For this before the phone;
Click on Settings-> About Phone-> MIUI version seven times. Developer options are enabled.
Then you are making active in Settings-> Additional settings-> Developer options-> USB debugging.
After this process, when we connect the phone to the computer, we ask for confirmation from the phone screen.
b) Now we open adb Shell as mentioned in item 2-d and enter the following commands respectively;

adb shell
su (after this command will ask for confirmation on the phone screen)
# setprop sys.usb.config diag, adb

After this command, the phone's diagnostics port opens, check with the device manager. If you can not see there is a driver problem, continue until you resolve the problem.

c) Run the 'QPST Configuration' program and click on 'Start Clients' -> Software Download -> Backup tab from the top of the screen to show where we will backup our qcn file by selecting xQCN File -> Browse and select the extension (. qcn) as the Record Type, for example a name like original_yedek.qcn . by Start call. We keep this backup as much as we can until the end of all transactions…

4) Doing transactions on the QCN backup.
First, make a copy of the backup. Then hxdsetup.zip (link above) q CN with the terms of the replacement program.
Open the program> Search> find> Hex Values tab and type 01 00 26 02 in the Search for tab. Select Search direction All and click search all. He'il find two lines. The lower value is Sim 1 IMEI, the upper value is Sim 2 IMEI. Double-click the value below. Here
, we fill in the whole block with hex values . So we fill a total of 15 pairs with 00. Then we run IMEI Converter (link above). In the first space we write the new IMEI number of our phone and call convert imei. We copy the 9 pairs on the right.
Then we select Sim 2 IMEI line in our qcn file which is open in Hxd program. Here you can paste the values we copied from imei converter instead of the 9 pairs of digits starting with 08 8A after 01 00 26 02 00 00 or we write by hand and save our file as newqcn.qcn on the computer.

5) deleting the corresponding blocks in the phone;
We're turning the phone off and on in recovery mode. To do this , we press the volume up + power buttons together when the phone is off . Continue until you see the TWRP image on the screen. Here, as in item 2 e;

Select> Wipe-> Advance Wipe-> Data and move the cursor to the right.
Return to the main screen of the TWRP and select Install. Source will ask. Select the internal memory or MicroSD card and install the Disable Force Encryption Treble program we copied there . (This program will disable the biggest problem of RSA encryption)
We do this again because the phone is turning on encryption again.

We will now make a backup of the blocks that we will delete in case of TWRP. We do this by opening Advanced> Terminal via TWRP. To back up of dd if = / dev / block / mmcblk0p57 = / sdcard / modemst1 dd if = / dev / block / mmcblk0p58 of = / sdcard / modemst2 dd if = / dev / block / mmcblk0p55 of = / sdcard / fsg --- -------------------------------------------------- -

To import backups to MicroSD card;

dd if = / dev / block / mmcblk0p57 of = / external_sd / modemst1
dd if = / dev / block / mmcblk0p58 of = / external_sd / modemst2
dd if = / dev / block / mmcblk0p55 of = / external_sd / fsg

Then delete
dd if = / dev / zero of = / dev / block / mmcblk0p57
dd if = / dev / zero of = / dev / block / mmcblk0p58
dd if = / dev / zero of = / dev / block / mmcblk0p55

THEN TWRPDEN 'WIPE> DATA' DO NOT OR DO NOT DELETE.

Then go back to the main screen and select Install again. This time select the Magisk.zip file in the same location and install it. Then restart the phone. Initialization will take longer again and all settings will be made from scratch. Check with patience…
* # 06 #. IMEI will say that you can not get. If not, item 5 should be done again.

6) QPST Configuration with yeniqcn.qcn the installation of files

a) the substance for which a phone reset 3 from steps which we do eat again until 3'c.
b) QPST Configuration 'program run from the upper part of the' Start Clients' -> Download Software -> Restore tab xqcn File -> Browse by before we show that we prepare our yeniqcn.qcn file and start call. When the operation is finished, the status is written as if the phone was reset. We reboot the phone manually. * Check with # 06 #. You will see your new IMEI number. But the network will not come. The phone is still connected to the computer. Close the QPST program.
Now run the QFIL program under the QPST program. Tools> QCN Backup Restoretab, show the newqcn.qcn file we have created by clicking Browse .. QCN File Path and say Restore QCN . When the process is finished, STATUS will display Process Completed. Restart the phone. The network will come. Good luck.

Restore the phone in recovery mode to restore the backups we received in the event that a possible phone fails. (Item 5)
We do this by opening Advanced> Terminal via TWRP;
Restore Backup

dd if = / sdcard / modemst1 = / dev / block / bootdevice / by-name / modemst1
dd if = / sdcard / modemst2 = / dev / block / bootdevice / by-name / modemst2
dd if = / sdcard / fsg of = / dev / block / bootdevice / by-name / fsg
reboot

Backup from MicroSD card Restore

dd if = / external_sd / of modemst1 = / dev / block / bootdevice / by-name / modemst1
dd if = / external_sd / of modemst2 = / dev / block / bootdevice / by-name / modemst2
dd if = / external_sd / fsg of = / dev / block / bootdevice / by-name / fsg
reboot
